Duration:
The duration of this course is 52 weeks (40 study weeks and up to 12* weeks breaks).
* Maximum break applies to courses crossing over the Christmas/New Year break.

Intakes: 4 intakes per year – January, April, July, October

Timetable:
Classroom lectures, workshops, tutorials and online studies (total 20 hours per week).

Assessment:
Our courses involve a combination of classroom and online learning, practical sessions, research and project work, plus work placement in a registered education and care organisation. Students are required to attend classroom-based face-to-face training and to study online in their own time. We utilise a range of assessment methods, including role plays, written assessments, skills demonstration, projects, presentations, training records and work samples for the assessment of competency.
