Welcome to our final edition of Kirana Colleges Australia (KCA) Partner Connect e-Newsletter for 2019!
It is hard to believe that the end of another year is just around the corner. As I reflect on the challenges our sector has faced, the growth we have experienced in both student numbers, team members and new partners, I am extremely proud of what we have achieved this year.
When we entered the international market our goal was to create a point of difference. This difference would not only be based on the quality of our programs and student experience, but also on developing a passionate team in order to produce a college that reflected our core values of ‘Respect, Integrity and Belief that we can make a difference’.
I truly believe that it is these values along with having a dedicated team that are focused on assisting our students with their educational journey that has been a part of our success. This has seen us grow from 15 students in July 2017 to now over 500 students from approximately 34 different nationalities.
It was also a pleasure to be able to conduct our first graduation this year and celebrate this occasion with our students, their families and friends. Personally, witnessing these events and listening to the success stories of our students is one of the reasons I love what I do!
Another reason for our success is the ongoing support from you, our partners and friends. Over the past three years we have been able to build strong relationships that has enable us to respectively grow and assist our students on their educational journey in Australia.
We are looking forward to 2020, especially as we prepare to launch our new Brisbane CBD Campus in January along with the challenges this year will bring.
So on behalf of my entire team I would like to wish you, your teams and families a safe and relaxing festive season.
Tony Patterson, Chief Executive Officer
WELCOME TO THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
It was a pleasure to welcome all our news students in October. With 80 new students commencing across our SOP and CBD Campuses, our team was kept busy ensuring that everyone had a great ‘O’ Week experience.
Cultural diversity is very important and studying with people from a range of different backgrounds only enhances the overall learning experience. We believe our Student Mix is also one of the reasons for our success. Apart from learning from experienced industry teachers, some of the most important life lessons come from our fellow students.
Currently we have over 500 International students from over 32 different nationalities, along with a few domestic students thrown into the mix.Over the last quarter we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Czech Republic, USA, Germany and South Africa.
Our top 5 countries are:
OUR PROGRAM MIX
We thought it would also be good to share with you what our students are currently studying by faculty. While our Early Childhood Education packaged programs remain the most popular choice, there is also a rising trend in the Cert III/Dip CS program. ECEC continues to be our strongest faculty!
