Student Assistance Program
KCA Education has launched the Student Assistance Program (SAP), a program dedicated to providing new and existing students with free and confidential counselling services to help with their mental health and well-being.
A Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a voluntary, confidential and complimentary counselling service provided by EapAssist for students of tertiary education providers.
As a joint initiative with Access EAP, the program is aimed at helping students address an array of life challenges, ideally before they become distractions that affect home life as well as studies with KCA Education. To initially access up to three hours of telephone counselling from 9am – 9pm Monday – Saturday go to Booking Form at: www.eapassist.com.au/booking-form/ using the allocated Access Code: 0407086000 & the registered company name: KCA Education.
We understand that there is life outside of studying with KCA Education and want to make sure that all our students’ mental health and well-being needs are being met. Through the Student Assistance Program, we facilitate our commitment to helping our students grow and be the best they can be when studying with us.
Support services provided by KCA Education are generally free of charge; however, costs may apply for external referral services.
Common issues that students can receive assistance with includes:
| Personal issues | Interpersonal conflict | Gambling |
| Work/Life effectiveness | Working relationships | Trauma |
| Relationship issues | Substance abuse | Depression |
| Grief and loss | Financial concerns | Anxiety |
| Parenting | Legal concerns | Perinatal counselling |
All new and current students undertaking a course at KCA Education will have full access to SAP services. The services provided are completely confidential where students will not have to compromise their identity and will remain anonymous.
